We follow the Klein ISD calendar, so our doors close for fall, Thanksgiving, winter, mid-winter and spring breaks. It’s our chance to rest and recharge so we can welcome your little ones back with full hearts and fresh energy.

The questions we’re asked most
Does my child have to be enrolled at The L.E.A.F. Academy?
No. Break care is open to school-age children from across the Klein ISD area, whether or not they attend the academy during term time. Get in touch and we’ll walk you through what we need.
Can I book a single day rather than the whole week?
Yes. Families book the days they actually need — one day of Thanksgiving week, or all twelve days of winter break. Tell us the days when you register.
What should my child bring?
A water bottle, a change of clothes, and shoes they can run in. Meals and snacks are provided, and so is everything for the day’s activities. Please leave tablets and game consoles at home.
How far ahead should I book?
As early as you can. School-age places are limited, and spring break and the first week of winter break fill first. Booking opens well before each break.
Are you open on the holidays themselves?
We follow the Klein ISD calendar. When Klein ISD observes a holiday or break, the academy is closed for all programs.
Do you follow Klein ISD if the district changes a date?
Yes. Our break days track the Klein ISD calendar, so a bad-weather day or a moved holiday moves our schedule with it. We let booked families know as soon as the district announces it.
